William Dillard is a real estate attorney serving clients throughout Texas and is the founder and managing member of PropLaw. For nearly 25 years he has dedicated his time to helping clients achieve their real estate goals, whether selling, buying, financing, developing, or leasing commercial real estate.
William has worked for some of the most prominent real estate developers in Texas along with Fortune 100 companies, international real estate investors, celebrity TV chefs and high-tech startups. He has negotiated leases with the world’s #1 retailer, led acquisition and development teams as attorney to the world’s #2 retailer, and spearheaded large development projects for some of the top technology companies in the world.

William has extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in leases of all kinds, with a particular emphasis on long term ground leases and industrial leases, as well as office, medical, retail, build-to-suit, solar and other types of leasing.
In his finance practice, William has successfully negotiated and closed a wide range of loans from both the borrower and lender sides, including construction loans, CMBS loans, venture debt, mezzanine loans, Export-Import Bank and SBA loans, as well as loan workouts.
William has been involved in deals involving virtually all asset classes. With decades of experience, he can see and anticipate issues from all sides of a transaction.
